1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Martial Arts Form Coach app ("the App") you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms please do not use the App.

2. About the App

Martial Arts Form Coach is a training aid app developed by Activeappshub. It uses your device camera and Apple's Vision framework to provide automated real-time feedback on martial arts techniques. The App is intended to supplement, not replace, qualified martial arts instruction.

3. Health & Safety

3.1 Consult a Professional
Before beginning any martial arts training programme you should consult your doctor or healthcare professional, particularly if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, disabilities, or concerns about your physical fitness.

3.2 Qualified Instruction
This App is not a substitute for training under a qualified and experienced martial arts instructor. Automated technique feedback is provided as a training aid only and should not be relied upon as sole instruction. We strongly recommend training with a qualified instructor such as those registered with a recognised martial arts governing body.

3.3 Inherent Risk
Martial arts training involves physical activity that carries inherent risks including but not limited to muscle strain, joint injury, and falls. By using this App you acknowledge and accept these risks.

3.4 Safe Training Environment
Before each training session you must:

  • Ensure you have sufficient clear space around you (minimum 2 metres in all directions)

  • Remove any objects, furniture, or hazards that could cause injury

  • Wear appropriate footwear and clothing

  • Ensure the floor surface is suitable for martial arts training

  • Not train if you are fatigued, unwell, in pain, or under the influence of alcohol or medication

3.5 Children
This App is not intended for children under the age of 13. Users aged 13-17 should only use this App under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or qualified instructor.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Activeappshub, its directors, employees, and agents accept no responsibility or liability for:

  • Any injury, illness, disability, or death arising from use of the App or participation in martial arts training

  • Any loss or damage to property arising from use of the App

  • Any inaccuracies in the automated technique feedback provided by the App

  • Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the App

4.2 You use the App and participate in martial arts training entirely at your own risk.

4.3 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

5.1 The App offers optional premium subscriptions which unlock additional exercises and features.

5.2 All subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Activeappshub does not collect, store, or process any payment or billing information.

5.3 Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.

5.4 Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the App including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, video, and software is the property of Activeappshub and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

7. Changes to the App

Activeappshub reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
